About the Yamaha SG1000-24 1983**SOLD

Yamaha SG1000-24, rarer 24 fret issue made in 1983. The factory White finish is ageing perfectly to a mellow cream. Frets are excellent, possibly has been refretted. Ebony board is wear free.
Some minor play wear the body in places and rear of the neck has minor paint wear. There is one minor mark to the top edge of the binding which is invisible to the touch when playing.
This is one killer SG1000, not heavy compared with others either at a very reasonable 9lb 1oz.
This sounds immense through our vintage shop AC30, no muddiness and the push push pots with coil split sound perfect. This has definitely earned it’s ‘Les Paul Killer’ badge. One fine example of a Yamaha SG1000-24.

Comes with it’s original hard case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
