This is one great bass to have in, Fender 1972 Telecaster Bass in Natural.
One very very vibe player and seeing that I generally only take in the odd bass here and there, this is fantastic.
Wide range fender Seth Lover pick ups sounds immense, no mud here.
Neck is fat on this and does like a heavier gauge string. It originally came in with some pretty old strings so I restring with the usual 105-45 and they do feel fine but I preferred the slightly heavier gauge of the strings that it came with. Your choice ultimately!
Condition if fair, lots of age and play wear, though frets are all in good order. marks to the neck edges as too be expected.
This has a wonderful played in feel and the patina is perfect. The pictured really tell the story on this. Truss works perfectly and is very responsive. This is one light bass too, 8lb 4oz! The Volume pot has been replaced at some point with the tone knob being original (side pot date). No aftermarket routs etc. The bridge plate is missing but original screws are in place and you can pick up original or aftermarket ones if you want one to complete the look.
No original case but it does come in a suitable hard case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
