Stunning 1973 Fender Deluxe Telecaster in a beautiful burst.
Superb patina with age and play wear. Crazing to the finish and general finish wear on the busy areas. No horrible dings though, just honest wear and ageing.
The toggle tip and socket have been replaced otherwise all original.
The wide range Seth Lover pickups are just wonderful. These originals are hard to replicate after hearing so many builds, however good, just don’t have the sound of the originals. Something to do with the magnet material I believe.
So yes this is no case queen, but it has appeal, character and vibe of any 73 Deluxe Telecaster I have had in or owned personally and that burst is unbelievably mellow.
Frets are in good shape too and are original. Neck has a very nice roundness at the nut, medium C.
This comes with a later Fender gun case.
