Theres always something about 70’s Fenders, some maybe heavy, not great construction etc but they always without fail have a charm that you will not get on most other guitars. Sure they’re no PRS players but they play great with character and feel.
This particular one, though player grade as they mostly are, is all original, pots, pick up’s, solders etc.
The burst has a wonderful patina, the neck pocket is a tight fit with no gap and although 8lb has a light feel to it.
The maple board has some minor pitting which does not affect playability and frets have minor wear for it’s age.
The necks were finished in Poly but the headstock facia were Nitro and is common to see the discolouration difference.
The neck has a full feeling Medium C and is super comfortable. I have set this up great for the best that suits this guitar. All Strats are different, some feel slinky and some feel tight with even light gauge. This has 11-49 D’Addario and feels lovely and slinky. Some strats like two or three springs on the trem, this has 4 and still has a wonderful easy elasticity.
This is one great strat.
It comes with it’s OHSC, Trem cover and Trem arm.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
