Fender Highway One Stratocaster in Crimson Red made in USA 2002.
These are fantastic USA made Strat’s. This is an early issue with the smaller headstock before they went to the the larger 70’s type.
Satin nitro body looks superb and does wear easily. It has some minor marks and rash, but less that you’d expect for 22 years old and thin skin nitro.
The dark Red looks great with slight grain showing through. The satin maple neck feels great and has a nice full medium C feel. Frets are excellent with very little wear if any.
These came with Texas Specials and the Grease Bucket tone circuit as standard.
Great spec for what was at the time the more affordable USA Stratocaster next to a Standard.
These later became the USA Special and then more recently the Performer albeit with a gloss finish.
A great Strat!
Comes with non Fender hard case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
