Stunning Fender crafted in Japan ’62 Reissue Stratocaster with upgraded hand wound pick ups by Hatters Pickups (check them out www.hatterspickups.com)
Grey base plates based on the particular era which I have to say sound about as good as I have heard, so musical and the bridge has a wonderful yet friendly treble, no harshness. John actually got in touch to let me know about the set used in this, they are based as near to spec to CS69. Plain enamel 42 awn wire with Alnico 5 magnets. Thanks John!
Lovely dark rosewood board with slim C profile and 9.5 radius.
‘O’ serial so any where fro 1997 – 2000.
Pots upgraded also. Minor fret wear and minor blemishes more visible in aged light. Consistent with light use for it’s age. Plays and sounds excellent. Comes with original pick ups and also added bonus of the bridge plate.
Comes with Fender black hard case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
