Heavily modded Gibson 1963 EB0. If you’re a player wanting an affordable vintage Gibson then this is the one….if you’re looking for all original then look away.
This has vibe in bags. It has had a neck repair which looks like a crack rather than break. A Fender Jazz pick up has been added in the bridge and has been routed through which is covered up with the rear plastic plater and small plater on the front top. Nickel tuners and pick up cover as original, bridge has been changed by the looks, large nut and 17 degree headstock as per circa ’63.
It is what it is.
This plays superb and sounds every bit of how you’d want to hear 60’s EB0.
Mike Watt (look him up) would be all over this.
Has some lovely crazing on the finish and generally, alterations apart, it’s a fine ageing vintage Gibson.
Neck is nice and chunky and still retains it’s original shop sticker on the head stock.
Probably the most affordable 60’s Gibson EB0.
100% player grade which any gigging bassist will love.
Comes with Epiphone Bass case.
