This is superb 1972 Gibson ES335TD in a stunning Iced Tea or some may say Sun Burst.

The burst is wonderful with watermelon hue in the red, very mellow.

Superb condition for age, one small area of wear on the rear top horn where the finish has work slightly, no neck repairs.

This has been re-fretted to excellent standard and the bridge pick up has been changed from the original T-Top to an equally great Tim Shaw from the later 70’s. Both very similar output and vintage era. Late 72 hence no Gibson Embossed T-Top.

The original neck pick up is still the T-Top.

Hard to read the pots looking with my usual mirror but I’d suggest these have been changed t some point and I can see the 137 code.

A fantastic and great sounding 335. The Neck is slim but feels very comfortable in hand.

Comes with a non original Hiscox 335 case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out. 

These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
