About the Gibson 1975 Marauder**SOLD

Another wonderfull Norlin era Gibson that I personally love. Quirky but solid guitars. This 1975 Marauder was the first year of it’s production, early March according to the neck pocket stamp. The serial on the headstock rear was only introduced in 1977 so this has no stamp. All pots and pick ups check out, all original. The black Gibson logo has eroded over time which is common in these. It has also has Kluson type machine heads replaced as per original as this had Schaller type on at some point.
Light weight at around 7lbs too. I love these pickups, basically is a Telecaster in Gibson clothing. The Bill Lawrence designed blade single coil and humbucker with its opaque covers are light and twangy but with a nice full output. Super versatile Gibson.
Comes with non original hard case.
It’s very clean , with very few signs of dings etc but naturally with it’s age it will exhibit some play wear.
A very nice example of a Norlin era Gibson Marauder.
