This is a stunner, Gibson 1977 ES335TD in a gorgeous Walnut.
Very good condition for it’s age, showing slight play wear and natural ageing. The main thing of note is that some one in the past has darkened the inside of the F holes. One of those things some folk did way back no doubt! It’s only a minor cosmetic thing that I’d need to point out.
Original Tar Back pickups sound superb and with the lower horn coil switch as original on this issue, also sounds great, not thin and seems more of a low cut. It makes for a very versatile 335 though.
No repairs, slight nitro mark due to a goose neck stand.
There is a added bigsby with no extra body holes fitted and the original Trapeze Tails Piece is still with the guitar should you wish to change back. This is how it came to me and I really like it so have decided to keep it on.
The neck is quite slim and the nut width measures just under 40mm. It does actually feel great to play and bear in mind that I prefer chunkier necks.
Comes with its original hard case, slightly tatty but all latches functional and is a solid case.
A great slinky player and beautiful vintage Gibson.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
