Gibson 1978 RD Standard in Natural. The RD Standard has the normal control feature with no onboard compressor as other models have.
This is one very cool guitar. It has had the pots replaced at some point. It’s in nice clean condition for it’s age showing minor play wear, light rash etc. Surprisingly clean really.
Frets are also in very clean condition, hard to say for sure if it has had a refret but I’d verge towards ‘yes’.
The pick ups ate 500T’s. The RD’s came with various types, dirty fingers, tar backs etc and varied widely so these could be original.
All round a great clean example of an RD standard. Comes with it’s original hard case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
