This is great to have in, Gibson 1982 Spirit, the single pick up version also known as the Spirit 1.

The body design is the LP Junior with a smaller guard.

This was made in the Nashville plant not Kalamazoo.

Some of these you’ll see were actually Epiphone branded but poor sales at the time meant shifting them back to Gibson to be re-decalled as Gibson and put back out on the market.

This plays and sounds superb and still has its original Tim Shaw Humbucker.

The lovely tobacco burst finish is crazing as you can probably make out in the photos and there are a few near marks here and there, notably the lacquer wear on the neck.

No repairs etc.

Frets are in good order and the board is a beautifully dark rosewood.

This comes complete with its original hard case which is also very clean plus it’s original warranty card.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out. 

These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
