One of my favourite modern era Les Paul’s, the 1960 Classic.
Different than they are now, the 1960 had the ‘1960’ on the guard as pictured although the gold has worn away. Yellow hue markers and they had fantastic tops plus the uncovered 500T/496R pickups which really suit this guitar. Traditional pots (no push pull).
The honey burst plain top is perfect, very reminiscent of a very famous Les Paul that we’re all too familiar with now.
60’s slim taper neck feels nice, not too skinny like the actual ’60 reissues are.
Great condition for nearly 20 years, light rash and the odd small surface mark on the rear. No harsh dings. A little lacquer play wear on the neck underside near the nut, very slight.
Killer player and very resonant.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
