Beautiful 2005 Gibson J-45 Historic Collection Limited Edition (1/670) in classic sunburst finish. Complete with original hard shell case albeit with an ex-owner artwork on the top of the case.
The J-45 remains Gibson’s most popular dreadnought acoustic guitar since its introduction in 1942. Its iconic drop shoulder design delivers great warmth, excellent projection, and a clear, dynamic response.
Released as a limited run in 2005 of only 670 instruments worldwide the ‘Historic Collection’ J-45 is the forerunner of the current ‘True Vintage Series’ re-creating the original specifications including a AA Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck has a medium C shaped profile with rolled fretboard edges and slight shoulders, generous slab rosewood fretboard with vintage-style fret wire, silk-screened gold Gibson logo, stock Kluson-style nickel tuners with white buttons, Nitro-Cellulose finish. Factory fitted active Fishman pickup

Some minor play wear and slight scuff on headstock edges. No rash., slight hazing in buy areas. Plays absolutely wonderfully, one of the best playing J45’s I have encountered.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
