Gibson 2019 ’61 Reissue SG with Factory long Vibrola.
This has been well gigged and loved.
1980’s Gibson pick up in the bridge and original in the neck which has been turned around for the Peter Green vibe but is not out of phase.
Loads of play wear, no repairs. You’ll not that the original and factory fitted vibrola is missing the cover, which was mislaid I believe but has a plain replacement in the (well worn original) hard case), though as it came to me like this, I really like the look so I’ll keep it off. The trem arm is incoming I’m told but at the point of me listing this is is not with the guitar. Machine heads changed to Tulip Grovers.
Lots of rash to down to the wood on the rear.
Cosmetics aside, this is one hell of a vibey and cool ass ’61 SG which sounds and plays superbly well.
It’s prices way cheaper than any ’61 Vibrola reissue you’ll find due to the condition but plays as good as any. If you’re a player and gigger this is the one for you.

As mentioned it does come with it’s original and very worn hard case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
