Gibson ES325 from around 1973 in a stunning red finish.
It has had the following modifications:
– T-Top Humbuckers fitted (originally mini humbuckers)
– Stop tailpiece added (originally Trapeze)
– New pots, switch and input jack
– Upgraded bridge (original Harmonica type)
Very good condition for its age, no big dings, some very small surface marks on the rear and the absolute lightest rash.
Minor fret wear on the lower frets.
Plays fantastic and although the upgrades devalue any original guitars, they have made the guitar more 335 like and more versatile. TheT-Top pick ups are £500 on average now. I’m guessing the mods were done a long time ago. There is a small glued down chip on the inside of the tailpiece most likely at the time of the alteration.
A super nice example and as values go this is all considered. Our last all original ES325 sold for £3250 so this is a great price.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
