This one has got me a little hot under the collar! Gibson 1998 Historic Artist ’63 ES335 in one of the best bursts on a 335 that I think I have seen. I totally favour the thin or narrow spray finish around the body, it simply catches the eye over so many others. Artist had the A – serial before the digits.
I can’t believe quite how zingy the acoustic sound is on this, just magnificent and plugged in the pick ups sound incredible. The bridge looks like a Custom 57 and the neck is an old T-Top and does sound as sweet as you’ll find.
One of the best I have heard in a long time.
The neck is a slim C, frets have very slight wear and the small block markers and board are wear free.
There are some light surface marks to the edge of the front that is visible in the light.
This is one beautiful player. The combination of the look, feel and sound is everything you’d look for.
No certs but does come in it’s OHSC.
This really is one great ES335 from the Historic Artist Series.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
