Stunning 2017 Gibson Historic Reissue 1960 or R0 Les Paul Standard in a rarely seen flame top ice tea or honey burst. The R0 are commonly known for their more cherry burst tops as from ’58 & ’59 when the finish faded quickly in shop windows, Gibson altered the ingredient to fade less in 1960.

This looks absolutely stunning, the photographs have really highlighted the flame which is slightly more mellow to the eye and very dimensional.

Beautiful condition throughout and the cherry back is fading nicely as to be expected in places. The neck has the typical slimmer ’60 profile. It’s not skinny, just typically slim and does feel great.

Very resonant acoustically and the Custombuckers are as good as they get.

A beautiful one to have in.
