Stunning 1962 Gretsch Tennessean. Beautiful condition, no binding rot issues at all.
It has had some upgrades making it more player grade than one for the collector.
It has had TV Jones Blacktop pickups installed after the originals were changed out years ago. These are the correct spec and sound incredible.
Replacement correct guard and open back machine heads plus a whole new wiring loom.
This is one stunning Gretsch, still with all the vintage appeal but and lovely naturally aged patina. Of curse there are one or two minor surface marks.
It also comes with a modern Gretsch hard case.
This is also close to production line from George Harrison’s ’63 Tennessean which was this very spec. The serial of this is 51686 and Georges is 58174.
This is one wonderful Gretsch.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not soley pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
