A beautiful piece of history, 1967 Gretsch 6120DC ‘Nashville’ Chet Atkins in western orange.
This came out of the factory in the April of ’67 and apart from the new Knobs which were replaced by previous owner and the tunomatic bridge, this is all original including it’s hard case.
Painted on ‘F’ Holes aren’t everyones thing but to me they are an important cosmetic feature that I really like to see.
Incredible condition for it’s age with no binding issues, pad splits, neck resets or repairs. No real play wear other than the slightest of pitting on the lower fret board and also the frets are in great condition too. All elections original. This plays and sounds so good, it really needs to be heard and played and those who know vintage Gretsch, the pick ups always have their own slightly more personal sound from guitar to guitar with retaining all that wonderful Filtertron magic.
Original bridge and knobs are not with the sale.
The colour appears a little more vibrant in the images than in the flesh and the best colour capture in the photos is the full angled photo in it’s case.
Viewing is essential on this.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not soley pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
