Gretsch are always a mainstay in our inventory , reissues to as this is original 60’s.
This particular is a 1969 Nashville, Chet Atkins, double cut with my preferred painted on F holes.
This is incredible condition for it’s age, no binding issues or neck resets.
The lightest of play wear and some age related crazing as I’d want to see.
The original orange colour has faded to a very mellow light orange and the original shade can be seen under the original rear pad and on generally on the rear where exposure to the light has been minimal.
It has been very well looked after all it’s life.
This sounds and plays fantastic. The Filtertron’s are something else in this, against many many others I’ve had there is something a little more going on here. Massively musical, this is one hard guitar to put down. It’s possible that it has been refretted at some point but to such a perfecting standard that it’s hard to say.
This is one incredible vintage Gretsch.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
