JHS Prestige Boost. Boxed in very good condition.

The JHS Prestige is the perfect pick-me-up for your pedalboard! Unlike many seemingly versatile stompboxes that turn out to be one-trick ponies, this buffered boost pedal looks simple but offers three invaluable tools in one. With just a single knob, you can achieve a range of effects that elevate your sound.

Key Features

• High-Headroom Buffer and Clean Boost: Combines both in one compact design.
• Pedalboard-Friendly: Simple one-knob operation for ease of use.
• Versatile Range:
• • 0-25%: Acts as a transparent buffer, compensating for high-frequency loss due to long cables.
  • 25-50%: Provides a noticeable tone/gain boost, perfect for overdrives and solos.
  • 50-100%: Adds a sweetening drive ideal for pushing low-watt tube preamps into breakup.

Performance Highlights

Set the knob between 0-25% to use the Prestige as a buffer, perfect for restoring the high frequencies lost through long cable runs and unbuffered pedals. Between 25-50%, it acts as an effective boost, adding depth and power to solos and overdrive effects. Beyond 50%, it introduces a clean drive, pushing your tube amplifier into a delicious overdrive.

Conclusion

The JHS Prestige Buffered Boost Pedal is an amazing addition to any guitarist’s setup. It’s incredibly versatile, allowing you to use it as a buffer, a booster, or a drive pedal, all in one compact, easy-to-use package. Whether you’re looking to enhance your clean tone or add grit to your solos, the Prestige delivers in spades.
