Super clean with minor cosmetic blemishes.
Still with it’s tatty but functional dust slip cover.
This has been fully serviced and has the service sheet, all original parts come with the amp. You will spot that this still comes with the Bulgin socket and plug, this has been retained for originality and is safe, naturally, but this would need to be changed if you were to take it gigging.
This amp was basically a museum piece but as components age, like the rest of us, caps have been replaced and voltages lowered as it naturally runs high.
This is a LOUD 60w. Those who know the shop understand that we can’t test amps at silly volume in here. So with this on about 2 it’s as loud as I like it in here. I see these wonderful videos online with demos and they’re cranking them into beautiful overdrive, so just be aware, if you like them loud then this is the one. That said, the tone of this running clean is remarkable, is it Vox, Marshall, Hiwatt? No it’s definitely it’s own amp…with a full bodied, fantastically musical tone.
It is great to see some of the greatest Vintage British Amps come through here. Grab a very clean, working, piece of history!
