I don’t often get PRS coming though purely as I’m a little fussy about them, but when one pops up like this I cannot say no.
This McCarty model is an early issue, they came out in 1994 and this is 1996.
The top is stunning and is the right orange hue being understated in my opinion which is when makes it look as good as it does. It has to be seen in the flesh really as the colour is hard to capture truly in a photograph. I think simply called a classic burst. It has a wonderful amber shade. The original pick up’s have their more sought after rounder edges which really makes a difference.
The neck feels wide fat to me but with there being no cert documentation I can’t say for sure other than on experience with PRS.
Stunning to play, probably one of if no the nicest PRS I have in.Very good condition for it’s age showing little to no play wear, no dings or rash. Frets are in great condition. Comes with it’s original hard case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
