The SE Bernie Marsden was (and still is) an incredibly popular SE. It has a slightly shorter scale length of 24.5″ for a more traditional feel and it also means that heavier strings feel a bit slinkier. And with a set of 9s, the guitar plays like butter!
Fortunately, the SE245 pickups are hot PAF-style pickups that give you those vintage tones with a bit more edge making this a blues and rock machine! The neck carve is a wide fat for a chunky, but comfortable feel in the hand. The neck pays tribute to classic 50s guitars that we all love.
The switching on the PRS is simple and easy to use with 2 separate volume controls and a single master tone. So you can simply switch between pickups for completely different tones if you like to use the neck pickup to clean up your tone (If you roll back the volume).
