About the Rickenbacker 4000s 1973**SOLD

Rickenbacker 1973 (March) in Jet Glory. Rare model with single pick up which was first famously first used in the UK by John Entwistle in the 60’s. No frills design, fantastic player. Dual truss rods work perfectly and the action is set low.
This is one punchy bass with all the Rickenbacker bass growl.
The Jetglo finish is ageing well, slight crazing appearing, some marks to the body and rash to the rear.
For a 50 year old bess however, the wear is consistent with light use.
Although the case is not original, I’m told it has been with the bass for many years.
A very nice `rickenbacler to have in.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
