Rare discontinued Rickenbacker Pete Townshend signature 1998PT from 1997 number 154 of 250, serial KO7475.
You’ll notice the top plate has been replaced (not included) and has remnants of a Tom petty sticker.
This last owner has owned it for 20 years since 2001 and is exactly how he received it back then.
There is some chips to the edges and crazing on the rear with a lacquer crack (this is only a lacquer crack wand is not in the wood and black light does not even detect a flaw). It has great patina. Truss rods are perfect as are the frets.
I have put new official Ric sponges on the middle and bridge pick ups, I’ll include the originals however perished!
Plays beautifully.
If this was mint it would be a 4-5000K guitar. Comes with original black tolex but lined hard case.
This is priced accordingly, it’s not battered, it has been player and has aged (very nicely) and has many years to play to go.
