One of the best modern day times for VOX, Korg era from the 1990’s made in the uk.
The AC30’s from Korg were the last great classic built AC30’s and the AC15 which they made as 2×10 and single 12″ models were although not a reissue design but a new take on the classic AC15 adding master volume and reverb as well as the standard Tremolo which is the VOX essence.
This was the model used on the early Kings Of Leon albums and live shows.
This still has the glassy tone that Vox is famous for. This particular one has been upgraded with a Celestion Gold Alnico which is and expensive and brilliant upgrade which is also a big sound of the VOX amp. Originally it was the 15w rated ‘Blue’, the ‘Gold’ however has the higher 50w rating.
It is in great cosmetic condition with the odd very small scuff underneath if anything and sounds wonderful. Comes with it’s original footswitch for reverb and tremolo.
Collection only on amps please.
