A great example of the VOX AC30 top boost with reverb made in 1979.
This model features the brown boards which were made by Dallas Arbiter for Rose Morris at the time. They later went to green boards.
Previous owner had this serviced and re-valved in August 2020. Theres is a little background hiss as to be expected and is the typical nature of vintage valve amps.
Cosmetically is very clean indeed. I’d suggest the Oxblood cloth has at some point been changed as I think they reverted back to ox blood a little later but I may be wrong.
This sounds superb and yes it does have THE AC30 tone….in bags!
The Trem and vibrato is just wonderful and the reverb adds a nice touch.
Though I’m a traditionalist on AC30’s, the reverb is a nice added feature and they didn’t have to punch extra holes in the panel to accommodate this either.
The original Fane made speakers sound great too.
Original foot switch included.
Collection only on amplifiers please.
