VOX JMI (Mk3) AC50 head from 1967.
Recent service and sounding wonderful! rear speaker output has been changed from original, a little more straight forward and simple. Recent new tone pot on Normal channel. Over the years it’s a had a one or two pot’s replaced.
Some components are staying to get tired and would need replacing in the next year or two, which we can do easily….it’s not as daunting as you’d think. All very natural with any amp of this nature.
It sounds incredible, very quiet, does Tom Petty to a tee! Thick, warm beautiful VOX tone.
Handle has also been replaced and the cabinet is in nice clean condition and cloth has no rips or tears. Original VOX logo intact.
A really nice example with many gigging years to go!
