Rare and what was top of the range model, Yamaha Studio Lord SL450S made in Japan 1982.
Killer player and the original pick ups sound incredible.
Hard ware has aged perfectly and the patina is spot on. No major dings, some marks on the rear including hazing and some small edge marks on head top edges.
Light weight at 8lb 7oz too.
Fantastic finish on this too, like a bourbon or dark burst.
Slim 1960 style neck, correct period bevel on the truss cover also.
Plays looks and sounds fantastic. One very nice example of a Yamaha Studio Lord within the law suit era that don’t come up too often.
Comes with Hard case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
