This is one stunning Gibson, the 2015 True Historic 1968 Les Paul Custom in Antique VOS Ebony.

Beautifully aged VOS finish with yellow tint binding plus True Historic Plastics, no weight relief and long neck Tenon.

The ’68 Custom Buckers sound fantastic.

The neck is a chunky feel to it and is very comfortable and at 9lb 4oz this is a good weight for any Les Paul Custom.

Excellent condition with no dings or rash.

The yellowed finish on the binding is a deliberate vintage appointment applied by the Gibson Custom Shop. Unlike standard production models that feature crisp white or cream binding, the 1968 Reissue treats the nitrocellulose lacquer topcoat with an amber tint. This process simulates years of UV exposure and lacquer breakdown. On 2015 models, this yellow hue covers not only the multi-ply binding lines but also accents the split-diamond headstock inlays and fretboard binding.

This is one of the best modern Customs I have had in. Comes with all tags, cert, check list and OHSC.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out. 

These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
