Fender 1965 Jaguar, just on the cusp of CBS which took over in January 65. This original factory custom colour blonde finish on ash is rare and looks amazing with the best patina showing the crazing and play wear to be expected but is conservative given age over play. Ash was used on the Blonde finishes over the Alder on bursts etc.
The shade is ageing wonderfully and just looks stunning. All original including the now hard mute pad. Alight shrink ing of the guard, very common on vintage celluloid. The pick ups are set low but still have plenty of the familiar punch and the rhythm circuit is not muddy at all and sounds beautiful. The foam pads again have hardened with age so these will need to be replaced should you wish to raise the pick up height. Being all original I am leaving this as it is from the point of view of the sale.
This plays stunning, no damage to the neck binding. Frets are original and with minimal wear.
Comes with original trem arm and black tolex case which has some wear to the piping and ends otherwise it’s pretty good.
This is wonderful to have in the shop. Viewing is essential!

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
