About the Fender ’52 American Vintage Telecaster 2013

If you like authentic play wear and ageing this is for you….Fender American Vintage, Pure Vintage Series ’52 Telecaster from 2013.
This has been toured and recently played on a Jools Holland Session on BBC2.
I believe it was much talked about at the filming too. With good reason….this looks amazing. Pretty much like a very well done CS relic with the crazing and wear in the correct areas. Some lacquer marks on the fret board and although the frets do seem to be original there is very little wear at all. Rash area on the rear.
Fantastic player and so resonant. It came into me in open G and it just rang!
The neck is a chunky C with a perfect roundness to it. Slight flame in the light too.
Bags of vibe in this one. No original case or docs but does come with a his cox hard case.

The first 46 units from the first production of this instrument will have a commemorative Special Edition 1st 46 neck plate. These neck plates commemorate the fact that Fender was founded in 1946, as well as the fact that Fender is releasing the most accurate and beautiful Fender reissue instruments ever from key historical years. The neck plate will serve as an indicator that these “1st 46” models were the first of their kind to be built, as well as add an element of collectibility to these first run instruments. The serial numbers of the series and the 46 instruments are not sequential, and among the first 46, were a mix of colors. These units will be randomly distributed around the globe for Fender fans everywhere to have a chance to find one in their local stores.
A few prototype pieces from the NPI run were sold with special laser engraved “Series Prototype” neck plates and came with a letter of authenticity and all case candy. There is no special designation in SAP.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
