Most of us have probably seen the great online reviews from Wildwood guitars in the USA.
This Fender ’62 AVRI thin skin relic, very rare in the UK, are commissioned to Wildwood Guitars by Fender made as Special Editions. These are essentially custom shop models hand selected by Wildwood guitars and sold exclusively through them.
The photo’s just don’t come close to capturing the crazing and wonderful ageing on this stunning the thin skin finish though have tried to capture as best I can. Light and resonant feel is wonderful. Has also been set up professionally and had the pickups replaced with Bare Knuckle Flat 52 and 53 in the neck due to the original neck pick up being weak output. The bridge is in perfect order.
Neck is a full feeling C to me, not huge but just little more than you’d be used to on a general ’62 vintage reissue.
Wildwood generally do not exert their select Fender or Gibson stock so we’re very fortunate to have this in.
Comes with original hard case, tags and cert.
