Gibson 1967 EB2-DC (Double Pickup, Cherry) with original hard case.
Great to have this in. Though we generally don’t stock basses we do take in vintage pieces as they’re generally getting harder to source.
This is no exception.
Mahogany neck, one piece, with a great cherry finish which hasn’t faded too much and still has a wonderful patina with it’s age related crazing, which I’d want to see on most vintage guitars.
Slight rash on the rear as to be expected.
This has has a neck crack repair done a very long time ago, so much so that it black lights with out showing the area on the rear of the neck which did not extent to the facia.
The neck feels great, slim at the nut but has an almost U feet about it, very rounder and suer comfortable.
This makes me play Bass differently, I love the way if feels and of course this sounds superb, not muddy as most say, just big and dynamic.
The mute pad works great and is very useful for those muted thunky tones.
The hard case is original and has been re-tolexed in places and is generally in good condition. Nice to see it still with the Bass.
Like on all vintage guitars there are many age and play related marks. This is player grade due to the repair and it has years to go!
One very nice vintage Gibson to have in.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
