1972 Gibson SG200. By no means no well liked model for it’s more chunky body, shallower 15 degree headstock tilt which was typical of it’s time on some models.
I find these along with other Norlin era guitars absolutely charming work horse guitars.
These have so much character and the fullness to the neck feels superb.
The single coils really are full of tone. Nice to see the branded Gibson bridge plate still intact and original scratch guard too.
The control plate originally had two slide switches per pick up but this has been changed to a toggle and a custom made plate to accommodate. Switches and original plate are long gone.
There are plenty of surface marks on this, no big dings just surface marks you’d expect to see of a played guitar of 50 years….a careful 50 years.
No neck repairs etc.
This also comes with it’s very rare SG chainsaw case.
It’ll a sad day to see this leave the shop.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not soley pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
