Another of my favourites in…Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, this time from 1975 and in a great Cherry Burst.
The mini humbuckers simply sound incredible. So packed full of tone and can sound huge.
Pancake body on this which were done with by 76 but found on some models until 79.
Play wear includes rash as in photo’s, some minor chips on the rear of the neck and edges. All consistent with a gigged almost 50 year old guitar. Original tuners were replaced with possibly Schaller type at some point but now are back to the Kluson Style.
Bridge pickup Volume control has been changed at some point.
The serial gold stamps denoted ’99’ which is ’75. The following digits are barely readable. Under my magnifier you can just about see some remnants. Simply natural wear to the small print.
Three piece maple neck is slim but not skinny and isn’t too heavy at 9lb 9oz.
Frets look original and thin but plays and performs well. Slinky and a very easy player.
I have a lovely trio of 70’s Deluxe’s in at the time of listing this one and they’re all different, all in good ways of course.
No breaks or repairs.
Comes with a non original hard case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
