Gibson 1981 Les Paul Custom in a wonderful Tobacco Burst. One owner from 1989…..here’s why. This was put away from 1980 by the shop owner as investment remaining unused. It was sold to the last owner in 1989 when the warranty card was filled out until he parted way with it. Used mainly in a church so has had light use and the wear on the wear of the neck lacquer is light and genuine. Slight light rash on the body rear that hasn’t broken the lacquer.
The case you’ll notice a big latch….another interesting story is that being the most valuable possession of the previous owner, when he went on holiday he put on the latch and chained it to the closet wall. Lovey genuine story.
A great custom to have in especially in the Tobacco as they don’t come in often.
The gold has very little wear too and the frets are in great condition. All pots are original as are the Tim Shaw Pick ups.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
