This is a stand out Gibson for me. 1989 Les Paul Special in a great Heritage Cherry.

Such a wonderful and easy player and the P90’s sound so good.

This has the ‘Promotional use only not for resale’ stamp on the headstock which usually meant that is was for Artist use for Gibson Endorsees. It was a lot harder to be endorsed by Gibson back then and it would be good to know who used it but alas, there is no history with it so I guess we can only guess.

A super cool guitar in its field. I have replaced the non original tortoiseshell guard that it came with for a more accurate 5 ply wide bevel guard.

Naturally the guitar does have numerous marks on the body though the back is largely rash free and the frets are original and very clean with very little sign of wear.

The headstock image shows reflective string lines which are not facia cracks etc.

Comes in a non Gibson hard case.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.

These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
