Gibson 2004 Les Paul Reissue R7, ’57 Goldtop.
The gold one this is fantastic, dark with a copper hue which really stands out. Fat neck feels great adding to the over all resonance.
Some light checking starting to appear in places. Slight shrinking on the head stock facia where you can feel a very very slight step on the left hand side, purely cosmetic with absolutely no baring on anything else and is minor. Original Custom Buckers sound excellent.
The guard is missing in action and it comes with a later non Lifton Gibson Black hard case and no cert. Certs and cases do get sold on unfortunately and isn’t always sinister.
This plays beautifully, nice weight at 9lb 8oz. Slight rash on the one piece body with some minor marks on the edges in places.
This is one killer R7.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
