Gibson 2013 SG Original 1, factory Vibrola.
Essentially a ’61 Reissue in a limited run with Heritage Cherry.
Stunning player and loaded with 57 Classics, these really suit this particular SG.
Vibrola is played in and retains tuning with gentle use, as these were intended.
The ’62 Necks have the slightly wider profile while retaining the 60’s slim taper.
Great resonant and vibey player.
Condition is fair for it’s age, it does have some nibbles around the edges and by the control cavity, some very small ones on the headstock and a small mark on the front of the body, barely visible in the images.
It has been lovingly gigged over the last, almost, ten years and as all good guitars this does have play wear. Minimal fret wear also.
This is one great SG and if you love a vibrola, this is the one.
Comes with OHSC, the white fur shows signs of discolouring.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
