1967 Gibson ES-330 TD, Sunburst finish in excellent condition, mahogany neck with Rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and chrome hardware. All original. This is a wonderful guitar that plays superb and sounds fantastic.
The ES330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It’s fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced. This example has has some light lacquer checking in the finish, a few tiny scuffs/scratches but nothing major. The back of the neck is really clean with only minimal wear. The headstock has a few scuffs and dings around the edges. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks/repairs. The frets are in excellent condition showing little to zero wear.
The pots date to 1966 and have untouched solder. Weight 6lbs 4 oz. Serial 091878.
This comes in a slightly later purple lined ESS Gibson case.
Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.
These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
