About the Gibson SG Standard Dark Cherry 1988

This is one killer SG, Gibson 1988 Standard in Dark Cherry, with side loading input.

Pick ups have been replaced with Lollar which are incredible and the machine heads have been replaced with period correct Klusons.

No breaks or repairs, some marks on the guitar consistent with age and being played and loved giving it an absolute wonderful patina.

Lovely balance too.
Comes with its original Chainsaw case. Only one out the three latches are working.

Although every guitar is checked at the point of buy in for condition we try to describe as accurately as possible and with the nature of every vintage, modern, used guitar you will always find blemishes held in certain lights that we have not solely pointed out.

These are usually very small lacquer marks or polish swirls and you have to expect a margin of very light marks that go undetected in usual lit environments.
