Beautiful 1963 VOX AC30 with the smother pebble tolex. Interestingly this has the very first speakers that were usually found in the TV front AC’s, the Goodmans Audium 60’s. These sound phenomenal and most likely or almost certainly were fitted later. You’ll note that one has been sprayed blue, not affecting the cone.
Original Albion transformers and some small components have been changed over time with degradation of values.
Original grill cloth is tidy and hole free. Replacement brass vents.
A very very nice example and one that sounds superb. Massively musical tones. Originally sold to me as a ’61 but the serial is ’63 and the smooth pebble came in mid ’62.
The tremolo and Vibrato sound superb in this too. The all sound different but there is no mistaking that VOX sound.
A must to be viewed.
